river amstel- the origin of amsterdam is becoz they dammed up river amstel.. direct huh?

cube houses in rotterdam(yes.. it got its name from damming the river rottel or is it rotter i forgot) poshy place but the ceiling's a bit low




















city hall in antwerp ( a short stopover on the way to belgium) this statue is abt this guy who killed the giant who terrorized sailors, cut off his hand and threw it away becoz this big giant killed a lot of sailors and threw their hands away too. sometimes u really have to force urself to believe things..
